Allmacher, F.
Chief engineer on the Korean steamer "Hai Riong", proven to be living in Chemulpo between 1889 and 1890.


Bruhn, A.
1892 captain of the Korean coastal steamer "Hai Riong".


Closter, N.
First officer on the Korean steamer "Hai Riong", proven to be a resident in Chemulpo from 1889 to 1890.


Dethlefsen
1885 captain of the steamer "Hever", which traveled twice a month between Shanghai, Nagasaki, Pusan, and Chemulpo for the German company Meyer & Co. The nationality of Dethlefsen, however, is not clearly clarified.


Herzberg, C.
Second machine operator on the Korean steamer "Hai Riong", documentedly living in Chemulpo in the years 1889 and 1890.


Jagemann, P.
Chief engineer, demonstrably from 1889 on the steamer "Signal", chartered by the German company E. Meyer & Co., and from 25th November 1892 to 1st February 1896 on the Korean steamer "Changnyong" (formerly "Signal") active. Jagemann had his residence in Chemulpo during this time.


Koch, J. A.
1887 commander of the Korean coastal steamer "Hanyang", residing in Seoul.


Meyer, F.
Captain of the Korean steamer "Haeryong" from 1887 to 1889, commander of the steamer "Signal" of the German trading house Meyer & Co. "Signal" from 1889 to 1893, and captain of the coastal steamer "Chow Chow-foo" from 1894 to 1896. Meyer was residing during these years in Chemulpo.


Möller
Captain of the steamer "China", which, under the flag of the North German Confederation, Ernst Oppert took for his "raid" from Shanghai to Korea in April 1868.


Schölke
Captain of the German schooner "Chusan", suffered a shipwreck on an island on the south coast of Korea in June 1871 and could save himself and the crew by getting ashore.

Tesselsen
First officer on the steamer "Signal", running for the German company E. Meyer & Co. Since 1890, Tesselsen had his living quarters in Chemulpo since 1890.


Tessensohn, Franz
In 1894 and 1895, he was listed as captain of the Korean coastal steamer "Changnyong", residing in Chemulpo.


Thomsen
From the German state of Holstein, captain of the "Genkai Maru", a packet ship of the Japanese steamship company 'Nippon Yusen Kaisha'. In the summer of 1894, he took the Austrian travel writer Ernst von Hesse-Wartegg aboard his ship from Nagasaki to Pusan.


Timm, C.
First officer on the steamer "Signal", which was chartered by E. Meyer & Co. In 1889, Timm had his residence in Chemulpo.
